After obtaining his Ph.D in analytical chemistry from the University of Wales, he started his career in R&D with Dow Chemicals in Oxford, UK, eventually moving to the US to take up a commercial role with Thermo Fisher Scientific. He spent 15+ years in the global laboratory instruments industry, holding leadership positions responsible for technologies, public-private customer partnerships, and commercial strategies. At SmartLabs, he’s responsible for the development and operations of our research centers with focus on external custom offerings.
